Just memorise this table you'll be fine.

KPH is displayed here in increments of 5 units at a time so just use interpolation for other numbers.

So for example when you're riding behind a truck and your speedo indicates 137KPH, you'll have recalled from the table that you memorised, MPH figures for 135KPH and 140KPH as 83.9 and 87 respectively. So just do a quick mental calculation :

(87-83.9) divided by (140-135)

which is 3.1 divided by 5

which is 0.62

now multiply this by 2 since you want 2 units above the 135 equivalent which you memorised

0.62 x 2 is 1.24

now just add this 1.24 to the MPH equivalent for 135KPH which is 83.9MPH

so, 83.9 + 1.24 = 85.14 MPH

This is probably over the speed limit on a smallish road. I recommend learning the table well so that you can convert speeds effectively without too much effort.
